Tendril Tower
Tendril Tower is a short climbing game made for the Jame Gam #46. You play as a potted plant who is trying to climb back up an apartment building to get back to your balcony on the top floor using a vine as a grapple.
If you need to exit the game, press the escape key and the quit menu will toggle!
There is no audio yet, I didn’t have enough time to learn sound design.
This is my very first game, and I was literally learning Godot as I went. Since it was built in six days, expect bugs, and comment if you find any!

Install instructions
If you are downloading the Windows executable, make sure to keep it in the same folder as the .pck file, otherwise it will not work!

Cool gameplay. I beat the game, and at the end i was already jumping like crazy. It's reminded me of rope gameplay in Worms
From a feedback perspective, I can tell you that, firstly, because the rope grapple is attached to the mouse click, you cannot always recover from a fall in many cases, as you need to click while the cursor is aimed at something, which can be a bit finicky. And second, you should always wait for the character to fall, in order to trigger the death and restart. This could be faster.
Yet, it's impressive that you created such a gameplay experience, which is already quite enjoyable

oh no precision platforming my only weakness, i like the game, when i read the story i was curious why the plant fell from balcony but of course it was the freaking cat!!!

-You can still move in the end screen
-Maybe allow a way to reset and pause the game to edit settings/go to the home menu.
